I’m a Mamavation Mom FINALIST!!

I’m happy to announce that 3 weeks of gaining support I have been selected as a finalist! Now we were told there would be 5 finalists, but in a surprise twist 12 finalists were chosen. That means 12 mom are fighting for 2 Mamavation Mom spots. AKA: More competition. I’ve been reminded that this is not about the competition and more about changing your lifestyle and connecting with like minded people. Totally get that, and I have had a blast connecting and making positive steps in my life. BUT only 2 women will be chosen. This is a competition.

I love love love me some Sephora! They have such a wide variety of makeup, skincare, perfume, and hair care options that I never leave there empty handed. My newest purchase from Sephora is the Sephora Collection Professional Platinum Angled Eyeliner Brush #23. Its slanted design makes it not only ergonomic, but super easy to achieve a smooth line with minimal effort! Loooves it!

Too often for us Moms our up-keep isn’t a priority. Our kids come first, and I know that after my daughter is taken care of I could care less that my hair isn’t combed and looks like fireworks or that my nail polish is chipping. Horribly. Our priorities as Moms definitely change once we become parents, and I don’t spend nearly the same amount of money on my hair or nails as I did before my daughter. Just like Tara over at The Young Mommy writes in her post Making Time for Pretty “I used to be a product junkie. Hardcore. If there was an anonymous support group I would have gone weekly” Giiirl I was there!
